**Job Description**
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Commercial Glass/Glazing Estimator to join our team. The role involves preparing accurate and competitive bids for a wide range of commercial glazing projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of architectural drawings, materials, and industry standards, and collaborate closely with contractors, architects, and suppliers throughout the bidding process.

**Responsibilities**
+ Analyze architectural drawings, specifications, and bid documents to determine project scope.
+ Perform detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for storefronts, curtain walls, aluminum windows, and specialty glazing systems.
+ Collaborate with vendors and subcontractors to obtain accurate pricing and lead times.
+ Prepare and submit professional bid proposals and value engineering options.
+ Track bid opportunities and manage deadlines to ensure timely submissions.
+ Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits as needed.
+ Maintain historical cost data and update estimating tools and databases.
+ Coordinate with project managers and field teams to ensure smooth project handoff.
