This position will lead this companies mechanical and plumbing engineering design (OR ELECTRICAL IF APPLICABLE) development practices in all regions of work performed by this construction company in adherence to the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, Air Force and Army surveying , planning and RFP design standards. These individuals will be working on new building construction, updates and renovations. Not maintenance, just design. Most work will be done on offices, housing and training areas.
In office work such as consulting, drawings, reviews , calculations, and phone calls
Time in field doing field walks, onsite meetings to discuss challenges with projects
Coordinating with project team to facilitate the flow of design and information
Collaborating with project team in development of the design schedule
Leading consultations with stakeholders regarding project proposals, schedules, strategies, building system design, safety, to ensure quality conceptual design and construction methods meet corporate objectives
Develop strategic approaches to a project and determine construction requirements
Collaborate with project team on design submittals, constructability reviews, cost managemnts, quality control and approval processes
Assisting in estimating or proposal processes
Salary ranging between 115,000-130,000

Skills and Requirements
Bachelors in electrical engineering
PE license
7+ years of electrical design experinece on top of bachelors degree
Knowledge with NEC, NESC, IEEE, and IBC (these are books to have knowledge in)
Experience with Revit/Autocad
Knowledge of sustainable design, green energy , environmental friendly sort of work (LEED or BEAP) DOD experience null
