Job Description

A highly-respected General Contractor with a legacy of successful projects is hiring a Chief Estimator to lead its national estimating department. This executive role is critical to setting pricing strategies, improving cost accuracy, and supporting business growth initiatives.

Estimator Responsibilities:

Oversee and lead the company's entire estimating department

Establish and enforce best practices, tools, and systems for estimating workflows

Set estimating strategy in collaboration with executive leadership

Review final bids, conduct risk assessments, and validate assumptions

Guide career development of estimating staff

Estimator Qualifications:

10+ years of estimating experience with at least 3 in a leadership role

B.S. in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field

Proven success in leading high-performing teams and securing major project wins

Deep knowledge of preconstruction, delivery methods, and market conditions
