Infosys is seeking a SAP ME Architect. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of SAP Manufacturing solutions, including SAP ME, SAP MII systems and integration with S/4 HANA. The role involves working closely with clients to implement, customize and optimize SAP Manufacturing solutions, enabling smarter production, better data integration and seamless operations. You will be a key player in the consulting team that helps discover and define the problem statement, evaluates the solution options and makes recommendations. You will create detailed design, architecture and process artifacts and implement the deployment plan. You will also support knowledge transfer with the objective of providing value-adding consulting solutions that enable our clients to meet the changing needs of the global landscape. Required Qualifications:
Candidate can be located anywhere in the US. This position will require travel to project locations.
Bachelors degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution in Mechanical / Computer Science/ Information Systems Management or related field required. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
Min 7+years of experience in leading end-to-end implementations of SAP Manufacturing solutions across diverse industry sectors
Collaborate with clients to understand their business processes, identify pain points, and propose solutions that leverage SAP Manufacturing portfolio.
Provide expert guidance in the integration of SAP S/4 HANA with manufacturing executions systems (MES) including design, customization and troubleshooting.
Configure SAP ME/MII modules to meet specific needs of manufacturing processes, such as production tracking, equipment integration and quality management.
Develop and optimize production workflow to enhance efficiency, reduce downtime and improve overall manufacturing performance
Provide hands-on support during implementation phases, including blueprinting, prototyping, testing, data migration, go-live and post go-live support
Lead training workshops for end-users and IT teams to ensure smooth adoption and knowledge transfer.
Monitor system performance and provide recommendations for continuous improvements and enhancements.
Keep up to date with latest SAP Manufacturing innovations and contribute to internal knowledge-sharing initiatives.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including supply chain, operations and IT to ensure seamless integration of the manufacturing systems with other enterprise applications.
Stay updated with trends in manufacturing industry and leverage continuously.
Conduct training sessions and build skills of other team members.
Identify the pain points of customers and find solutions through SAP ME.
Explain and convince the customers about advantages of digital manufacturing solutions, bring more business and revenue to the organization.
Lead or participate in for RFP preparation for clients in diverse industry segments.
Act as a POC of manufacturing team and participate in all relevant meetings\workshops with respective stakeholders.
Experience with IoT, Industry 4.0 technologies, and cloud-based manufacturing solutions.

Candidates must be willing to work in rotational shifts, as the role may involve combination of regular shifts and off shift support needs as they arise

Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of SAP ME site setups, shop floor master data, shop floor execution and tracking, integration with S/4 HANA, PODs, data collection (DC), genealogy, returns management, site-to-site transfer, Worker guidance set up etc.
Knowledge of integration points of SAP ME to other SAP S/4 HANA components
Knowledge of SAP Modules PP, QA and PM preferred.
Experience with other MES products would be advantageous.

Experience working in application support project

The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time.
Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements.

Estimated annual compensation range for this role will be as follows:
In CA/ WA/NY/CO/MD/IL/MN/NJ: $96,000 to $ 134,400
In Washington, DC: $85,600 to $129,000
