Project Manager

Job Description

As a Project Manager, you will play a crucial role in planning, developing, and overseeing site projects, working closely with project management teams to establish priorities and ensure successful project execution. You will be responsible for maintaining project budgets, schedules, and scopes while overseeing all aspects of cost management, including estimating, funding, budgeting, forecasting, controlling, and reporting. Utilizing your extensive knowledge of project scheduling, bids, take-offs, change orders, and contracts, you will identify and process scope changes, address issues, and communicate regarding project milestones. Your role includes developing relationships to identify and cultivate opportunities, devising new approaches to problem-solving, and preparing or modifying drawings, specifications, calculations, charts, and graphs. You will ensure compliance with applicable codes and accepted engineering practices, and that all equipment, tools, and employees operate according to government regulations and customer requirements. Regular updates of project statuses will be provided to management, and travel to job sites will be required to oversee projects.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure equipment, tools, and employees operate per regulations and requirements.
  • Monitor execution of safety programs and staff performance.
  • Provide regular updates of project statuses to management.
  • Travel to job sites regularly to oversee projects.
Essential Skills
  • Project management in construction, electrical systems, and HVAC electrical.
  • 5+ years of experience as a project manager or assistant project manager in industrial construction settings.
  • Experience in construction of manufacturing facilities, data centers, warehouses, and chemical processing facilities.
  • Electrical experience on industrial construction projects.
  • Proficiency in software like Bluebeam, construction management, and estimating software.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Preferred estimating experience within industrial settings using Excel, Bluebeam, or Trimble.
  • 5-10 years of experience in industrial project management.
Work Environment

The Industrial Project Manager will work both in the office and at various job sites, managing teams to complete projects. You will participate in in-person and virtual meetings throughout the week, focusing on relationship building and business development. The role requires someone open to hands-on work at job sites. The standard work schedule is Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:30 PM, with flexibility based on project scope and schedule. Office presence is not required if meetings and site visits occupy the day.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $120000.00 - $185000.00/yr.
