Welder Multiple Shifts Available 1st Shift - 6 am to 2:30 pm 2nd Shift - 2:30 pm to 1 am - Monday - Thursday 4 - 10's Pay is $18 to $22 Job Description The Welder will play a crucial role in fabricating and welding tanks and other industrial equipment, primarily using blueprints. This position involves 90% welding and 10% GMAW, including some metal core. Once familiar with the process and procedures, the role will also involve fitting tasks. Responsibilities Utilize blueprints to fabricate and weld industrial equipment. Perform 90% welding tasks using various techniques including flux core and structural welding. Engage in fitting activities once familiar with procedures. Ensure quality and precision in welding tasks adhering to D1.1 standards. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently. Essential Skills Proficiency in welding techniques such as flux core, stick, and MIG welding. Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints and welding symbols. Minimum of 2 years of industrial welding experience, preferably 3-5 years. Capability to weld 3G and 4G positions. Experience in structural welding is highly desirable. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to work with .045 diameter wire. Experience in fitting is a plus. Must be comfortable working in an industrial environment. Why Work Here? Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
