Project Engineer - Infrastructure & MEP Renovations

United Staffing Solutions is seeking an experienced Project Engineer to join a major institutional campus in Upper Manhattan. This full-time role offers a 35-hour work week and a competitive salary range of $135,000 - $150,000 annually.

Key Responsibilities for the Project Engineer:

Reviewing MEP and infrastructure drawings and specifications

Coordinating with contractors, engineers, and cross-functional teams

Managing budgets, schedules, bids, requisitions, and project close-outs

Overseeing commissioning and approvals for HVAC, boilers, chillers, BMS, and related systems

Maintaining organized records and ensuring compliance with policies

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree + 5 years' related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience

At least 5 years as a Project Engineer, Facilities Project Engineer, or MEP Project Engineer, ideally in large healthcare, educational, or institutional settings

Certified Project Manager (CPM)

Strong background in engineered building systems (HVAC, boiler, chiller, BMS)

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Highly preferred: Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering, Professional Engineer (PE) license, LEED accreditation, Professional training in Primavera or Microsoft Project
