This role involves collaborating with clients, engineers, and construction teams to create functional and aesthetically pleasing structures that meet client needs while adhering to building codes and regulations. Responsibilities Develop and present architectural designs that align with client requirements and project specifications. Collaborate with clients to determine their needs and preferences for building projects. Create detailed drawings and specifications using CAD software, including AutoCAD, Revit and Rhino. Conduct site visits to assess project feasibility and gather necessary data for design. Produce filing sets for submission to the NYC Department of Buildings Coordinate with engineers and construction teams during the design process to ensure designs are implemented correctly. Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and technology to enhance design practices. Skills Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite for design presentations.
