Role Overview: The Junior Architect / Junior Project Manager plays a key role in supporting the activities of the Project Development Group (PDG), a division focused on providing architectural support for clients, designers, and interior designers in the execution of high-end residential projects. This dual-role involves a combination of architectural design responsibilities and project management tasks, ensuring effective coordination, planning, and documentation throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities: Project Support: Assist in the development and execution of drawings and construction documents. Participate in project planning meetings, record keeping, and project minutes. Conduct shop drawing reviews and generate site observation reports. Coordinate work with mechanical, electrical, and structural engineers, as well as other consultants. Perform field surveys and create base drawings for new projects as required. Technical Skills and Design Support: Prepare AutoCAD construction drawings and related project details. Translate initial design concepts into 3D renderings and assist with creating photo-realistic images using Rhino for client presentations. Apply Revit and AutoCAD skills in both practice and project coordination. Contribute to the development of design concepts and presentations using Adobe Creative Suite. Project Management Support: Manage project documentation, including budgets, contracts, and change orders. Ensure compliance with internal standards and maintain organized project files (both electronic and physical). Assist with project procurement, reporting, scheduling, and punch list coordination. Participate in coordination efforts between internal teams, subcontractors, and consultants to ensure smooth project execution. What You Bring: Experience: 1-3 years of architectural experience. Recent graduates with relevant internships will be considered. Technical Skills: Proficient in Revit with fluent knowledge. Skilled in Rhino, with the ability to render photo-realistic images. Experienced in AutoCAD, with practice in both school and work environments. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite for design and presentation work. Preferred Experience: Residential projects (single-family, condo, or multi-family) experience is preferred. Skills: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines. Excellent communication skills to interact with various teams, clients, and vendors. Commitment to Quality: A deep commitment to detail and precision in drawings and designs. What We Offer: Compensation: $70,000 to $85,000 annually, based on experience.
