Job DescriptionAs a Mechanical Engineer, you will be responsible for designing mechanical systems, assemblies, and machine components using SolidWorks. Youll perform FEA and thermal simulations in ANSYS, create detailed drawings and models, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure optimal performance and manufacturability.
Responsibilities
- Design mechanical systems and components using SolidWorks
- Perform FEA and thermal simulations in ANSYS
- Create 2D drawings and 3D models for manufacturing and assembly
- Collaborate with manufacturing, electrical, and controls engineering teams
- Conduct design reviews and implement feedback
- Support prototype development, testing, and troubleshooting
- Maintain documentation and ensure compliance with engineering standards
Required Skills
- Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 5+ years of mechanical design experience (machinery or industrial equipment preferred)
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and ANSYS (or similar FEA tools)
- Strong understanding of materials, manufacturing processes, and GD&T
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in new product development
- Knowledge of injection mold design
