PDS Tech Commercial is hiring two experienced Fire Alarm Technicians to support high-impact projects in the Nashville and Shelbyville, TN areas. If you take pride in your technical skills and want to work on recognizable locations like Dollywood Hotel, Vanderbilt University, and other key sites, this is your opportunity to join a team w your expertise makes a real difference.
This full-time, Monday-Friday role offerspetitive pay, steady hours, and the chance to work across multiple sites. Travel with the team from Access DNSI, and receive per diempensation for travel exceeding 50 miles.
About the Role
As a Fire Alarm Technician, you'll be responsible for the installation, maintenance, inspection, and repair of fire alarm systems across variousmercial locations. You'll help ensure safety systems are reliable, up to code, and functioning as designed to protect people and property.
Your Day-to-Day:
Install, test, andmission fire alarm systems
Perform routine inspections, troubleshooting, and maintenance
Diagnose and resolve issues in a timely manner
Maintainpliance with NFPA standards and local fire codes
Travel to different job sites (with mileageper diempensation w applicable)
Work independently or as part of a mobile team with flexibility on start time (6:30-7:00 AM)
What You Bring
Required:
Proven experience installing and servicing fire alarm systems
Strong knowledge of fire safety codes and NFPA standards
Ability to interpret blues and technical documentation
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel between job sites
Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Strongmunication and time management abilities
Preferred:
NICET certification (or willingness to obtain)
Experience working with multiple manufacturers' systems
Prior experience onmercial or institutional projects (hotels, universities, etc.)

Pay Details: $25.00 to $29.00 per hour
