WSP is seeking a Project Manager/Construction Manager Architect for the MNAA Facilities Project in Brentwood, TN.

The MNAA Facilities project will relocate and consolidate various functions for MNAA Maintenance and Operations Departments as well as Engineering Department. It will consist in the first phase of approximately: 39,000sf Operations building, 98,000sf Maintenance facility with associated storage areas and Engineering offices planned at 20,000 sf with contractor collocated modular offices.

The Ideal candidate would have an architectural background with construction experience and above average communication skills. This facility is a MNAA/owners facility and as such this position will be coordinating with owners executives for direction and approvals. So, communication skills at that level will be critical.

Your Impact

+ Develops scope of project, planning/concept documents, engineering documents, and construction documents.

+ Develops procurement documents as project dictates.

+ Manages contract development

+ Participates in procurement selection

+ Negotiates engineering/architectural/construction contracts and change orders as necessary

+ Leads architectural/engineering and construction for development of plans and construction

+ Oversees architectural, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and civil reviews for all submittals

+ Performs constructability reviews of plans and specifications at required stages of design.

+ Coordinates with all departments to ensure compliance with standards, codes, and guidelines.

+ Oversees all design and construction.

+ Administer and attends meetings, reviews submittals, and shop drawings for work being performed.

+ Reports, maintains and updates project reporting and database throughout tenant project and project closeout.

+ Reviews construction schedule for completeness and progress.

+ Confers with supervisory personnel, contractors, design consultants, and other professionals to resolve matters such as work procedures, complaints, and construction problems.

+ Coordinates construction activities among property owners, state officials, departments, contractors, and design team to ensure projects are planned in logical steps and time is budgeted to meet deadlines.

+ Identifies environmental hazards and addresses them in accordance with Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.

+ Performs other duties as assigned.

+ Knowledge of airport operations and construction of aviation facilities are required.

Who You Are

**Required Qualifications**

+ Bachelor's Degree in Architecture, Construction Management, or related field

+ Additional years of experience considered in lieu of degree.

+ 7-10+ Years experience in relevant field.

+ Essential professional licensure/certification as applicable.

+ Proficient knowledge of architecture design and practices.

+ Maturity in interaction and ability to operate self-sufficiently in the field.

+ Proven ability to perform in a management capacity.

+ Excellent written and oral communications skills.

+ Knowledgeable of current technology with ability to utilize it effectively on the projects.

+ Ability to manage concurrent design processes and identify impacts projects may have on each other.
