Lead Plant Operator - Recycling Facility

We are looking for an experienced equipment operator to add to our team at our recycling plant in Albuquerque, New Mexico! In this position you will be a lead operator for the recycling plant, operating our forklift, the Front End Loader and baler. $23.00-$26.00 per hour depending on experience Schedule: Monday- Friday (6:00am-4:30pm)(50 hours per week) Occasional Saturdays. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE: Pushing recyclables onto an incline belt Loading recycle materials in a hopper Loading, dump trucks, open top trailers, pushing up piles of yard debris, rubble Responsible for equipment inspection Assisting customers and employees as needed . MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS: Proven experience in operating Forklifts and Balers Previous Lead or Supervisory experience required Ability to be self-directed as well as work in a team environment Ability to work in all weather conditions Must pass pre-employment background check and drug screen To be considered for any of our current openings you must complete an application at w ww.careers.wasteconnections.com .
