Schedule: Monday - Thursday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM; Friday, 7:30 AM to 1:30 PM
Pay Range: $16.50 to $20 per hour, based on experience and qualifications

Position Overview: A Brooklyn plumbing shop is looking to hire a Bilingual English/Spanish helper. Must be able to legally work in the USA, have an OSHA card and drivers license and be able to drive a box truck and/or large vehicles. Must be able to lift up to 100lb.

Responsibilities:
1.Assist in Plumbing Installations: Support the installation of pipes, fittings, fixtures, and other plumbing components according to specifications.
2.Prepare Work Areas: Set up workspaces by gathering necessary tools, equipment, and materials to ensure efficiency.
3.Provide Support during Repairs: Assist in diagnosing and repairing plumbing issues as directed by licensed plumbers.
4.Maintain Tools and Equipment: Clean, organize, and maintain tools and equipment to ensure they are in good working condition.
5.Follow Safety Procedures: Adhere strictly to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for yourself and colleagues.
6.Learn Plumbing Techniques: Learn from experienced plumbers on-site and through training sessions to enhance your plumbing skills.
7.Handle Materials: Safely load, unload, and transport materials and tools to and from job sites as required.
8.Assist in Job Documentation: Document work activities, materials used, and hours worked accurately as per company procedures.
Qualifications:
Basic understanding of plumbing systems and components is preferred but not required.
Physical stamina and strength to lift heavy materials and work in various weather conditions.
Willingness to learn and take direction from experienced plumbers.
Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Attention to detail and commitment to completing tasks accurately and efficiently.
Working Conditions:
Work primarily at construction sites, residential homes, or commercial buildings.
May involve working in cramped spaces, kneeling, bending, and lifting heavy objects.
