SOS- General Laborer

Volt is hiring for a General Laborer position with a leading industrial manufacturing company in Gardena.

As a General Laborer, you will:

• Follow all safety procedures and company guidelines on the floor
• Operate tools and equipment safely to assist in production and warehouse functions
• Learn the barcode system to weigh, tag, and identify inventory properly
• Maintain a clean and hazard-free workspace
• Assist with material handling and inventory organization
• Participate in forklift certification through on-site training
• Understand and follow environmental safety practices
• Perform general labor support tasks and any other duties assigned

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 1st Shift

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 2+ years of experience in a heavy manufacturing or industrial setting preferred
• Forklift experience is a plus
• Must have strong attention to detail and basic math skills
• Comfortable lifting 35 lbs repeatedly and standing for long periods
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple tasks
• Flexible with working overtime or extended shifts as needed

Pay: $20.16 per hour
*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
