We are currently seeking a Building Automation Systems (Client) Project Manager to lead the successful execution of multiple construction projects from installation through commissioning and handover. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in building automation, HVAC controls, and construction project management, along with the leadership skills necessary to manage cross-functional teams and ensure timely, budget-conscious project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee all phases of Client construction projects, managing scope, schedule, and budget
Supervise subcontractors and in-house Controls Technicians during installation and commissioning
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and expectation management
Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks to avoid delays or cost overruns
Review and approve engineering submittals, technical drawings, and BoMs
Manage documentation including contracts, change orders, purchase orders, and billing schedules
Maintain accurate records, including milestones, SoVs, and financial reporting
Lead field personnel and manage weekly technician timecards
Provide monthly status reports to senior management
Qualifications:
2+ years of experience managing construction projects, ideally in Client or HVAC controls
Strong technical knowledge of Client systems, electrical infrastructure, and commissioning processes
Proven ability to manage multiple projects and teams in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
Skilled in risk management, budgeting, and project scheduling
Excellent client relationship and communication skills
Proficient in project management tools and software
