Alliance Industrial is partnered with a leading manufacturer in the Kent, Ohio area. We are looking for energetic, hardworking, and dedicated welders who are new to the field or a seasoned veteran. today for your opportunity.

Pay rate : $21+ - based on experience

Shift : 6 : 00am - 4 : 00pm Monday thru Thursday. OT on Fridays

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Operate equipment and use safe work habits.

Weld components in flat, vertical, and / or overhead positions.

Set and operate welding equipment; perform minor repairs to equipment as needed.

Examine work pieces for defects and measure to ensure conformance with specifications.

Analyze engineering drawings, blueprints, specifications, sketches, work orders, and material safety data sheets to plan layout, assembly, and welding operations.

Other duties as assigned.

Ability to work scheduled OT to meet scheduled production Qualifications :

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

EDUCATION And / or EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or general equivalency degree (GED) preferred.

Ability to pass weld test required.

Ability to pass code certification weld test preferred.

Ability to accurately read and interpret drawings and prints

Ability to accurately read a tape measure, micrometers, calipers, and other measuring instruments.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb and crawl for extended periods of time.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly .

Ability to work at heights of up to 15 feet.

Ability to wear a tight face-fitting respirator.
