Welder (1st and 3rd Shift Available) - $24-$25/HR + Shift Differential**
**Job Description**
We are seeking a skilled Welder to join our team in Canton, OH. You will have the opportunity to work on either the 1st shift from Monday to Friday, 5:30 AM to 2:30 PM, or the 3rd shift from Sunday to Thursday, 7:00 PM to 4:30 AM. As a Welder, you will be responsible for performing MIG welding, fitting, and fabrication on structural steel or stainless steel components, following blueprints to accurately fabricate parts.
**Responsibilities**
+ Perform MIG welding, fitting, and fabrication on structural steel and stainless steel parts.
+ Follow blueprints to ensure accurate fitting and fabrication of parts.
+ Execute welds up to 1/2 inch in thickness.
+ Grind and prep parts for welding.
+ Read a tape measure to cut parts to size.
+ Utilize an overhead crane daily.
+ Assist in cleaning the shop during downtime.
**Essential Skills**
+ Minimum 2 years of welding experience in manufacturing settings.
+ Proficiency in MIG welding on structural metal.
+ Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
+ Capability to pass MIG weld test performing vertical and horizontal welds.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Experience with material handling equipment such as cranes and tow motors.
+ Competency in operating basic hand tools.
+ Ability to read a tape measure.
+ Basic understanding of different weld joints.
+ Physical ability to lift 50 lbs and stand for 8+ hours a day.
