Millwright Job Description We are seeking a skilled Millwright to join our team. This role requires expertise in mechanical systems, repairs, and adjustments to equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation and maintenance of mechanical power transmission equipment, bearings, pumps, packing, and mechanical seals, while ensuring safety precautions are followed. Responsibilities Make mechanical repairs using knowledge and experience of mechanical systems and practices. Adjust equipment as necessary. Install and maintain mechanical power transmission equipment, bearings, pumps, packing, and mechanical seals. Learn hazards and safety precautions of all procedures. Follow oral and written work instructions. Report to management any quality and potential production problems encountered. Perform all related job duties and other responsibilities assigned by supervisor or departmental managers. Essential Skills Troubleshooting mechanical systems. Welding. Hydraulics. Ability to distinguish between mechanical and electrical faults and perform repairs. Fabrication and installation of equipment. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
