Position and Responsibilities
As a member of the maintenance team, you will install, repair and maintain piping systems, fixtures and other plumbing equipment used for water distribution, drainage and waste disposal.
The starting hourly rate for this position is $50.03 along with competitive benefits and retirement savings. Upon completion of the probation period, the hourly rate increases to $53.73.
Education and Qualifications
Requirements for the position:
- C of Q as a plumber (Red Seal) - Trade Code 306A
- Backflow Prevention Certificate, or ability to obtain Certificate during probation period
- Physically capable of performing assigned duties
- Possesses required trade related hand tools
- Demonstrated work performance that is consistent with a team environment
- Self-starter able to work with minimal supervision
- Strong commitment to health, safety and environment
- Clear background check
Assets:
- Experience gained working in a chemical plant
