As an HVAC Mechanic, you'll join a team of multi-disciplinary technical experts, ensuring that our clients can deliver their products and services - uninterrupted. We'll give you the tools to become an expert on the HVAC building systems that support our client's operations. You'll grow your expertise to help your team succeed in the safe and time-critical operation, maintenance and repair of mission-essential HVAC related equipment. You'll contribute to the success of our program with efficient preventive maintenance and effective solutions to complex challenges that may arise in our client's state of the art facilities. Most importantly, you'lltake actionto ensure the safety, health and well-being of your team and our planet.

Here's what you'll need

• 10 years related commercial and industrial HVAC experience
• Varied electrical and mechanical experience
• Broad understanding of HVAC components and theory
• Ability to read and understand mechanical, electrical, and equipment drawings
• CFC Certification and record keeping experience

Ideally, you'll also have:

• Trade school or technical program diploma
• Ability to effectively present information either orally or in writing to other employees, supervisors, engineering personnel, and client representatives

Due to the nature of the job passing a Fitness for Duty testing is required to ensure candidates for this position are physically and functionally fit to perform the essential physical work functions of this safety sensitive position without posing a direct threat to the health or safety of themselves or others.

The physical and environmental demands required to perform the essential duties of this position include standing, walking, sitting, coordination, balance and agility demands, which may include the ability to stoop, kneel, squat, grasp, reach, perform repetitive hand movements. Additional demands may involve a specific level of dexterity, grip strength, climbing and cardiorespiratory demands. The work areas may be indoor, outdoor, have loud noise, active machinery, high pressure fluid systems, electrical equipment, confined spaces, heights and depths, fumes, air borne particles, noxious gases, and chemicals. The use of appropriate safety equipment will be mandatory in these areas to prevent hazardous contact.

The base salary range for this position is $66,700.00 to $95,370.00; though will be paid hourly based on hours worked. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
