Drywall Texture & Paint Above Kitchen Cabinets Flat Rate Only image 1 of 4 compensation: flat rate gig only. Hi need help with a texture + paint job above kitchen cabinets and countertops. Small area, but needs clean, professional work. Location: 92130 just off the Del Mar Heights Rd exit from I-5 (2 minutes off the freeway) Timing: ASAP Pay: Flat rate only no hourly quotes. Photos are attached so you can gauge complexity. Happy to send more or a quick video if needed. What I Will Provide: Paint (color matched) + primer (Behr all-in-one) Plastic sheeting paint roller, paint tray, touch up sponge brushes. Clear access to the space spray texture 4 cans 12oz each What I Expect From You / Finished Product: Bring your own tools: sanding tools, anything you have a "preferred" option for based on my above provided materials sand and repair minor damage (cracks/flaking) Sand off leftover adhesive (material above counters is residue from an old kitchen I demo'd ~12 months ago) Spray texture once (as needed), then paint Avoid standing on the counters if possible ideally use your own taller ladder that leans against the wall above the cabinets. I have a foldable A-frame ladder but it may not be the best for this job. Clean, taped edges no paint drips or dust left behind Professional finish I'd like to use the kitchen again ASAP Please see the pics attached and use the legend below for notes on sections to be addressed: - RED: just need texture sprayed on the upper cabinet area, then paint; the square section below the exhaust hood needs some *sanding* then texture then paint. - GREEN: leftover adhesive from demo. need sanding then texture (you can see i already tried to texture the left side near the sink without sanding much). *might* ask to skip the sanding if you feel that texture spray will hold and then paint will hold after. - YELLOW: about a 10 ft stretch of open area that we didn't seal up. I have Alex DAP caulk that you can please apply, let dry, then paint. Quick heads-up: I tried starting this job with someone from TaskRabbit he didn't have the right tools or enough time to finish. He also wasted a full bag of fast set (it dried up too fast for his working speed). So please only respond if you're confident and equipped to finish the job cleanly.
