Handyman technician

Position Summary:
We are seeking an Experienced Handyman / Maintenance Technician to perform general repairs, preventative maintenance, and unit turnover work for residential and multifamily properties. This is a full time position with consistent year-round work for the right candidate.

Responsibilities:

• Perform general home repairs: drywall, painting, locks, doors, light carpentry

• Handle minor plumbing and electrical repairs

• Install and troubleshoot appliances

• Prepare rental units for new tenants (turnovers)

• Complete work orders promptly and professionally

• Communicate with property management team regarding project status and needs

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of handyman or residential maintenance experience

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

• Must have own tools

• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively

• Professional appearance and tenant-friendly demeanor

• Basic smartphone skills for work order updates and photo documentation

• Background check required

Preferred Skills (Not Required):

• HVAC troubleshooting

• Flooring installation

• Tiling and grout repair
