Description

We're looking for a detail-oriented, experienced HVAC installation technician to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in residential and/or light commercial HVAC installations, particularly in installing metal ductwork, running copper refrigerant lines, brazing, setting units, and performing system start-ups.

Responsibilities

Comply with all applicable standards, codes, policies, and safety procedures

Outline and join electrical wiring according to the diagram using hand tools

Join pipes or tubing from the equipment to the fuel, water, or refrigerant source

Inspect all pipes, tubing joints, and connections for leaks

Set up all heating, air conditioning, air quality, refrigeration, and control systems

Qualifications

Have 2 years of experience installing HVAC units and their components

We require candidates to have a high school diploma or GED

Comfortable working in crawl spaces and attics

Working knowledge of low voltage electrical wiring and high voltage connections
