Electricians & Apprentices Join Nevada City Electrics Team

Nevada City Electric is a locally owned, licensed electrical contracting company serving Nevada County and surrounding areas. We pride ourselves on bringing professionalism, precision, and a friendly, down-to-earth approach to every project. Our work ranges from high-end residential installations to commercial service calls, solar, and backup power systems. We are growing and looking for motivated Journeyman Electricians and Apprentice Electricians who want to develop their skills and be part of a trustworthy, hardworking crew.

Position:
Journeyman Electrician Experienced in residential and commercial electrical work, with the ability to work independently and lead small teams.
Apprentice Electrician Entry to mid-level experience. Willing to learn, follow instructions, and grow into a skilled electrician.

Ability to work safely, follow codes, and produce
clean, organized work

Good communication skills with both clients and team members

Problem-solving mindset and willingness to learn new technologies

Journeyman: Valid CA electrical certification and drivers license, ability to read plans, troubleshoot, and run jobs independently

Apprentice: Some electrical or construction experience preferred, but were willing to train the right motivated person

Work Includes:
Residential and commercial wiring
Panel upgrades and service changes
Generator installation and backup power

systems
Solar and battery storage systems
Lighting design and installation
Troubleshooting and repair
New construction and remodels

Pay & Benefits:
Journeyman: Competitive hourly rate (based on experience)
Apprentice: Hourly rate based on experience and skill level, with pay increases as skills grow
