Check out our many videos to learn more! -us/careers/ Summary: The Project Manager will enter orders for all projects and packages, offer all new customers the forms required to set up a new account, generate bill of materials for shop fabrication of process equipment skids and work closely with shop personnel throughout the entire project, order all required equipment, manage project timelines according to equipment delivery, work with factory personnel to acquire all appropriate documentation for submittals and final manuals, coordinate equipment training and start up, set up and coordinate with accounting all progress payments, check with accounting to ensure timely payments are received before proceeding to the next stages of the fabrication process. Responsibilities of the Project Manager include, but are not limited to: Project set-up including project pass off meeting with the salesperson, creation and maintenance of comprehensive project documentation, and budget setup in the accounting software Project schedule milestone tracking including: executed contract due dates, submittal requirement date, submittal approval due dates, operation and maintenance manual due dates, equipment ship dates, startup coordination, and equipment warranty tracking Manage relationships with Vendors, Contractors, Engineers, & Owners including frequent teleconference meetings Manage changes in project scope, schedule, and costs including change orders and RFIs (requests for information) Coordinate internal and third-party resources throughout the execution of projects Creation of purchase orders for equipment vendors Comprehensive open item tracking to ensure that no tasks get missed Simultaneously work multiple projects with competing demands Detailed review of engineering submittals for scope of supply accuracy Distinguish critical project issues from normal ones and escalate them to management as needed Review incoming vendor invoices for accuracy As we are a small office, the addition of further responsibilities beyond those mentioned, is possible to meet the needs of the business Qualifications of the Project Manager include, but are not limited to: Excellent organizational skills Strong time management skills Self-motivation and personal accountability The capability to learn and constantly improve processes and tools Ability to work in a team-oriented environment Effective interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal Proficiency in Microsoft Office Knowledge of rotating equipment (pumps, mixers, blowers) Experience working in a professional office setting Customer service experience Experience in the Municipal water market or the construction field is Additional Information: Pay Range: $60,000-$80,000 annually DOE Working Conditions: Office in Tampa, FL Training/Certifications: N/A Shift Time/Overtime: Mon-Fri / Regular business hours Travel: N/A Education: High School Diploma, Bachelor's Degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering LI-YH1 zryh Location: USA:FL:Tampa DXP is always looking for individuals who want to join a team of employees who have the desire to achieve remarkable accomplishments together.
