About the Role:
- The role involves negotiating contracts and letters of agreements with hospitals, physician groups, and ancillary providers to ensure high quality, cost-effective, and marketable providers.
- The position requires maintaining a tracking system and publishing reports according to departmental procedures.
Responsibilities: -
- Initiating, negotiating, generating, and tracking provider Letters of Agreement, contracts, and amendments from initial draft to full execution using approved standardized contract templates/amendments.
- Supporting network development by researching, recruiting, and negotiating with providers.
- Participating in the evaluation of provider networks and implementing strategic plans to meet network adequacy standards.
- Communicating contract terms, payment structures, and reimbursement rates to providers.
- Assisting in the analysis and coordination of amendments, reimbursement, and language changes.
- Coordinating the preparation and distribution of documents to complete the contracting process in a timely manner.
Education Qualification:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience in the healthcare field, including providers office, managed care, or other healthcare fields.
Required Skills: -
- Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- Ability to interact effectively with internal and external customers.
- Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and make decisions. - Adherence to company policies and maintaining confidentiality.
