Assistant Superintendent/Superintendent
Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated Assistant Superintendent/Superintendent to manage several diverse interior projects in Washington, DC and nearby Maryland. These projects range in value from $1 million to $20 million, offering a dynamic and challenging work environment. The role involves working exclusively on exciting College/University commercial construction projects.

Responsibilities

  • Manage multiple interior projects ranging from $1 million to $20 million.
  • Oversee and coordinate all trades and subcontractors on site.
  • Handle RFIs, submittals, and ensure project timelines are adhered to.
  • Facilitate meetings and communicate effectively with clients.
  • Prepare and manage 3-week look-ahead schedules for the field team.
Essential Skills
  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial interiors projects within the DC market.
  • Proficiency in handling RFIs and submittals.
  • Experience in managing subcontractors and coordinating trades.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Strong communication skills for client interaction and team meetings.
  • Ability to grow and adapt in a family-run business environment.
Work Environment

This position requires 100% on-site presence in Washington, DC and nearby Maryland. The work involves engaging in College/University commercial construction projects within a reputable and established family-run general contracting firm. Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $33.65 - $49.00/hr.
