Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Design Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and improvement of equipment and manufacturing processes. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting feasibility studies, developing equipment concepts, and creating detailed design drawings. You will play a crucial role in enhancing manufacturability and scalability, as well as troubleshooting complex manufacturing problems. Responsibilities
- Conduct equipment feasibility studies to assess potential solutions.
- Develop equipment concepts based on specifications and feasibility studies.
- Create design and detailed drawings in accordance with verification guidelines and checklists.
- Develop equipment specifications and process plans to guide manufacturing.
- Support design changes and update drawings as necessary.
- Troubleshoot complex manufacturing problems through root cause analysis.
- Perform feasibility studies on design concepts and product manufacturability.
- Identify and implement best practices from past models.
- Develop and establish efficient manufacturing processes.
- Align engineering specifications with factory capabilities and project goals to create manufacturable and scalable design solutions.
- Support physical verification of the vehicle during initial production at the factory.
- Collaborate with a team to identify and resolve design and manufacturing issues.
- Proficiency in CATIA V6, 3DExperience, and Delmia.
- Strong background in design, mechanical design, and sheet metal.
- Experience with CATIA V software.
- Capability to troubleshoot and solve complex manufacturing problems.
