Experiened cabinet maker/ designer looking to hire immediatly

About the role
A talented and experienced Cabinet Builder is sought to join the team. The Cabinet Builder will interpret ideas and designs, select appropriate materials, construct and assemble cabinet components, and ensure a precise fit and finish for each piece. The builder will work with various woodworking tools and machinery and is expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, shop drawings, and design specifications.
Measure, cut, and shape wood and other materials according to specifications.
Construct and assemble cabinet components, ensuring precise joinery and fit.
Install hardware, such as hinges, handles, and other accessories.
Design and install drawers, slides and stops,
Perform finishing tasks, including sanding, staining, and applying veneers or other finishes.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace.
Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards.
Collaborate with team members to meet project deadlines.
Qualifications
Proven experience as a Cabinet Builder or in a similar woodworking role.
Proficiency in using woodworking tools and machinery (table saws, routers, drills, etc.).
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
Strong understanding of joinery techniques and cabinet assembly methods.
Knowledge of various types of wood and their properties, as well as different finishing techniques.
Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move materials.
A strong commitment to safety protocols and practices.
