Construction Senior Estimator

TITLE:CONSTRUCTION SENIOR ESTIMATOR
ABOUT THE JOB:We are seeking an experienced candidate to fill a full-time role as Senior Estimator for a construction company in the central valley. Your responsibilities will include leading the estimation process for general construction projects. You will be following through on project feasibility and cost-effectiveness, spearheading the preparation of detailed cost estimates and proposals, mentoring junior staff, ensuring alignment with project goals and client expectations, serving as a key person in strategic decision-making, managing bid processes, engaging in the design phases, analyzing completed projects to compare costs, pricing materials, labor rates and much more.

SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum 4-6 years of experience in a construction environment, particularly in a project/production cost estimating role.
Expertise in labor and materials cost estimation
Experience working with/estimating construction for large structures up to 1+ million square feet.
Deep understanding of construction processes and market dynamics.
Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and provide detailed tracking of all projects from start to finish.
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office/MS Project and construction-related programs such as Bluebeam, Procore, AutoCAD.
Strong analytical, organizational, time management and problem-solving skills
