Schlouch Incorporated has been Eastern Pennsylvania’s leading commercial, public and residential site preparation specialist since 1983 is still growing. From earthmoving to utilities to final grading, we take pride in delivering quality work on time and on budget. Our crews are experienced, motivated, and safety-focused and we’re looking to add a Site Foreman to our team who can lead from the front.
As a Site Foreman , you’ll be the on-site leader, ensuring projects run smoothly from start to finish. You’ll coordinate crews, oversee daily operations, and maintain the highest safety and quality standards. This role requires a balance of hands-on involvement and strong leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities of a Site Foreman:
- Direct and supervise site crews, subcontractors, and equipment operators
- Manage day-to-day field operations to meet project schedules
- Ensure work is performed safely, efficiently, and to specification
- Coordinate with Project Managers on plans, materials, and timelines
- Troubleshoot site challenges and provide effective solutions
- Maintain accurate records of work performed and resources used
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in heavy civil construction, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Strong knowledge of earthwork, grading, utilities, and site preparation
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Proven track record of team leadership and problem solving
- Commitment to safety, quality, and efficiency
- Familiarity with OSHA safety regulations
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds
- Valid Driver’s License Required
