Position Summary

We are seeking a Carpenter Leader / Foreman to lead our commercial construction job sites. This individual must be highly skilled in commercial carpentry, able to read and interpret blueprints, manage layouts, and effectively run day-to-day jobsite operations. The ideal candidate will be organized, dependable, and capable of leading crews while ensuring projects are completed on time and to specification.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and supervise carpentry crews on commercial build-out projects

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications

Perform accurate layout and planning for installations

Oversee and participate in framing, drywall, ceiling installation, door/hardware installation, and finishing work

Coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and other trades on site

Maintain a clean, safe, and productive jobsite environment

Track and report progress, manage timesheets, and complete required paperwork

Ensure work meets all quality standards and complies with local codes and safety regulations

Train and mentor carpenters and laborers as needed

Requirements

3+ years of experience in commercial carpentry, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or foreman role

Strong ability to read and work from blueprints and technical drawings

Proficient in layout and use of tools and equipment related to carpentry and framing

Solid leadership and communication skills

Capable of managing multiple tasks and crews efficiently

Reliable transportation and willingness to travel between job sites from Miami up to Boca Raton

Must be able to complete necessary paperwork, logs, and documentation accurately and timely

OSHA certification - If not, once hired, you will have 30 days to complete.
