Position: DMN Operations Specialist / Electrician
This position is responsible for maintaining all computer controlled production systems and auxiliary electronic controls
DUTIES:
Dependability is key to our deadline and time sensitive production.
- Self-motivation is a driving force in our completion of daily and nightly goals.
- Performs lean manufacturing activities that include installation, repair, troubleshooting and preventive maintenance on a wide variety of automated industrial printing and packaging equipment which utilize PLCs, Variable Frequency Drives, and motor drives.
- Maintains and repairs production related computer systems and auxiliary electrical/electronic controls.
- Involvement with production equipment additions and removal. Helps to design and install conduit, controls and power circuit wiring, along with equipment over-current and overload protection.
- Identifying and correcting conflict between the demands of deadlines and quality.
- Acting as a collaborator in a fast moving work environment.
- Help to develop/implement workflow-enhancing processes.
- General cleaning around warehouse.
- Performs related duties as assigned which may not be specifically listed in the job description, but which are within the general occupational series and responsibility level associated with the class of work.
Education: High School Diploma or GED or demonstrable experience in lieu of education.
Experience: 5 years of production environment experience.
License: TDLR Electrician License
