We are looking for an experienced Plant Electrician in Middletown, OH.
The Plant Electrician will be responsible for electrical maintenance at our Middletown, Ohio ASU facility and the surrounding Generated Gases facilities .

Key Job Responsibilities:
- Work on industrial-sized equipment used in production at our Middletown and surrounding Generated Gasses facilities and provide corrective repairs on electrical components.
- Day-to-day routine, emergency, and major maintenance.
- Electrical work scope outage planning while coordinating with electrical engineering and contracting firms.
- Reading and comprehension of circuits, blueprints, P&IDs and schematics.
- Corrective repairs, lead maintenance repairs, and proactively monitor electrical components and drive units.
- Routinely move from complex problem solving on large jobs, to smaller tasks such as wiring a simple light fixture or wiring a small electric motor.
- Normal work schedule is Monday through Friday with some overtime available and occasional after hours on-call support required as needed.
Required Skills / Abilities:
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team with plant operations staff and/or outside contractors.
- Understand the operation and troubleshooting of low, medium, and high voltage electrical circuits, electric motors, generators, transformers, UPS systems.
- Grounding equipment, fixing switchgears, circuit breakers, understanding and tracing circuits, etc.
- Proficient in the use of multimeters, meggers, and various test equipment.
- Proficiency in reading and comprehension of circuits, blueprints, P&IDs and schematics.
- Ability to update electrical drawings as needed.
- Knowledge of safety issues pertaining to plant electrical tasks.
Minimum Hiring Requirements:
- A high school diploma or GED is required accompanied by a technical degree and/or completion of an apprenticeship program.
- 5 years of industrial electrical experience is required.
- Plant operations experience is preferred but not required.
- Proficient in the use of multimeters, meggers, and various test equipment.
- Ability to work at elevation on scaffolds or manlifts, running/bending conduit, pulling wires, and capable of lifting heavy tools or components.
- A valid drivers license is required.
- Ability to travel within close proximity of the Middletown, Ohio facility for occasional support of remote plants.
