The opportunity
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Glazing Estimator to join our dynamic team in Fallbrook, CA. This is a full-time, in-person role where you will play a crucial role in our project planning and success, focusing on commercial glass and glazing projects, you will be expected to have contacts in the industry and bring value to the organization.
Analyze blueprints and project specifications to determine material, labor, and equipment requirements.
Prepare accurate and timely cost estimates for storefront, curtain wall, windows, and other specialty glazing projects.
Utilize estimating software (e.g., Logikal, Partner Pack, Glaziers Studio, Bluebeam Revu, Procore, PlanSwift) to develop detailed material takeoffs and pricing.
Collaborate with sales representatives and the operations team on bid proposals and project hand-offs, ensuring alignment and seamless execution.
Communicate effectively with vendors, clients, and internal teams throughout the estimating and project lifecycle.
Maintain organized records of bid documents and estimates.
Assist in other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum of 4 years of estimating experience in the commercial glass and glazing industry.
Strong knowledge of estimating/project management/managing specialty scopes of construction including storefronts, windows, curtain walls, and other interior glazing elements.
Proficiency in reading, understanding, and interpreting blueprints, specifications, and drawings.
Excellent communication and customer service skills.
High level of attention to detail and cost analysis.
Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with customers and vendors.
Proficiency with computer takeoff and estimating software such as Logikal, Partner Pack, Glaziers Studio, Bluebeam Revu, Procore, or PlanSwift.
Proficient skills in Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to work independently under time-sensitive deadlines.
OSHA certification is a plus.
Benefits
