Welder 2nd Shift**
**Location:** Saint Michael, MN
**Job Type:** Contract-to-Hire
**About the Role**
Were looking for skilled welders to join our growing team on 2nd shift. Our company specializes in custom metal fabrication for major clients, producing items like display shelves and drive-through communication boxes. This role involves both **TIG (65%) and MIG (35%) welding** on mild steel, aluminum, and stainless steel. While not fully custom, projects vary and offer a dynamic work experience.
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Perform TIG and MIG welding on various metals (mild steel, aluminum, stainless steel)
+ Read and interpret blueprints to complete welding tasks
+ Use hand and power tools for fabrication and sheet metal work
+ Measure, cut, and prepare sheet metal to specifications
**Skills & Experience**
+ Proficiency in TIG and MIG welding techniques
+ Ability to read and work from blueprints
+ Experience with hand and power tools
+ Competence in measuring and cutting sheet metal
+ Minimum 6 months of relevant experience
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Technical degree or certification in welding or fabrication
+ Experience operating fabrication machinery and equipment
