About the role

Were hiring a hands-on, organized, and driven Assistant Project Manager/Project Coordinator to help manage construction projects from bid to close-out. This hybrid role offers a mix of administrative work and field time, with opportunities to grow within the company.

Full-time | Hybrid (Office + Field) This hybrid role includes a mix of on-site field office and remote/office-based coordination to oversee and report on field operations.

What you'll do

An Assistant PM in our company will be responsible for the following key tasks:

  • Support Project Managers and Superintendents throughout the entire project lifecycle
  • Assist with bidding, startup tasks, subcontractor coordination, and project close-out
  • Maintain RFIs, submittals, punch lists, photos, and project records
  • Update construction schedules in coordination with field personnel and the project PM
  • Oversee material and equipment delivery
  • Perform on-site reports covering personnel, equipment, materials, and daily activity
  • Help prepare and organize job site and office files, logs, and compliance documentation
  • Type correspondence, meeting minutes, and prepare project documentation
  • Obtain quotes for materials and subcontractor work
  • Maintain shop and site supply inventories
  • Assist estimators and field teams as needed
  • Support special projects and maintain a clean, professional job site
  • Travel to project sites as needed

Qualifications

Definite Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in the construction industry
  • High school diploma or GED
  • Understanding of the construction contract process (bid, startup, tracking, close-out)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Reader
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized with excellent follow-through and attention to detail
  • Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions and walk job sites
  • Willingness to travel to job sites and take direction
  • Must be able to read basic plans and perform physical tasks such as bending, reaching, and climbing stairs

The pay range for this role is:
