MIG Welder We are seeking a skilled Welder with 2-4 years of experience in welding and fabrication. The ideal candidate should be comfortable reading blueprints and working with a variety of materials, including mild steel and aluminum. Responsibilities Perform MIG welding on mild steel and aluminum components ranging from 16 gauge to 1/2" thick. Read and interpret blueprints and work orders to complete welds to specification. Fit and tack parts according to blueprint layouts. Conduct visual inspections to ensure weld quality and completeness. Operate fabrication equipment such as brake presses, saws, grinders, plasma cutters, and CNC lasers. Maintain a clean and safe work environment, adhering to safety protocols. Comfortable reading a tape measurer. Ability to lift 75+ lbs. Essential Skills 2-4 years of experience as a welder/fabricator. Comfortable reading blueprints. Proficient in MIG welding techniques. Experience with grinding and assembly. Knowledge of brake press machines. Proficient in reading tape measures and basic math. Ability to perform Flat Fillet, Flat Butt Weld, Horizontal Butt Weld, Pipe External Fillet, and Pipe Internal Fillet welds. Additional Skills & Qualifications Must have own welding gear. Work Environment The work environment is a medium-sized job shop where candidates will work around job shop machinery. The role involves working the first shift from 7:30 am to 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
