💼 What Youll Do

As an HVAC Journeyman Mechanic, youll be a key player in delivering high-quality service and solutions to our commercial customers. Youll work on a variety of systems, from rooftop units to chillers, and help optimize facility performance.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Diagnosing and repairing commercial HVAC systems (chillers, boilers, compressors, pumps, fans, etc.)

  • Performing maintenance and replacements on mechanical systems

  • Troubleshooting advanced systems including centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, screw chillers, and ammonia/hydrocarbon components

  • Conducting mechanical shaft alignment and vibration analysis

  • Installing complete HVAC systems and supporting infrastructure

  • Providing expert recommendations and quotes for system upgrades and repairs

  • Collaborating with apprentices and other mechanics to share knowledge and ensure top-tier service

  • Traveling 1020% to support customer needs across the region

  • Prioritizing safety in every task

🎯 What Were Looking For

Were seeking skilled professionals with a strong mechanical background and a commitment to excellence.

Required qualifications:

  • Minimum 8 years of commercial/industrial HVAC experience

  • Universal EPA refrigerant certification

  • Valid drivers license and applicable state/local licenses

  • Experience with ammonia and hydrocarbon systems (certification required)

  • Proficiency in mechanical alignment and vibration diagnostics

  • Ability to communicate clearly with customers and document service actions

  • Willingness to join the United Association of Journeymen and Apprentices (UA)

  • Self-motivated, safety-focused, and eager to learn

  • Ability to pass a technical proficiency exam

(Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
