Convergint is looking for a full-time, enthusiastic, results driven and forward-thinking CAD Operator to join our amazing culture. In this role, you will prepare system installation drawings from engineered documentation for construction or permit. What you’ll do with “Our Training and Your Experience”

  • Prepare system as-built drawings from onsite drawing mark-ups.
  • Assemble drawing package sets and data sheets for submittal or permit; works on drawing package sets and data sheets with complexity levels varying from routine to, at times, more complex.

What You’ll Need

  • Good knowledge/expertise in AutoCAD; including commands such as layers, xrefs, dimensioning and blocks.
  • Strong skills in reading and understanding architectural and electrical layouts and diagrams.
  • Exceptional customer focus and ability to work under pressure; ability to maintain awareness of, and seek to meet the needs and wants of the customer without being prompted.
  • Basic understanding of low voltage systems, instrumentation & testing, or P&ID preferred.
  • Basic understanding of Access Control, Video Surveillance, Intrusion, Intercom, Building Automation, or Mass Notification preferred.

Requirements

Education: High School/GED or equivalent experience

Highly Preferred (but not required): Revit
