Novant's Painter will perform various duties related to the aesthetic maintenance of the facilities. This includes painting; sheetrock, patching, installation of wall protector, wall covering; cove base corner guards, flooring; and ceiling tile. You are an important part of the team; Customer Service and the ability to complete work respectfully in the presence of patients and their family is needed.

You are bringing valuable experience painting, patching, installing wall covering, ceiling tile, wall protective materials, rubber base, and some floor covering.

Qualifications

  • Education required: High School Diploma/GED, OR 4 years of relevant work experience
  • Experience required: One-year of experience painting, patching, installing wall covering, ceiling tile, wall protective materials, rubber base, and some floor covering Required Skills:
  • Demonstrated ability to complete both generic and department-specific skills validation and competency assessments.

  • Proven commitment to applying customer satisfaction standards in daily tasks.

  • Strong oral and written communication skills.

  • Proficient in the safe use of a wide range of hand, power, and trade-specific tools.

  • Capable of planning and laying out work, including accurate labor and material cost estimation.

  • Ability to distinguish object details and colors essential for technical tasks.

  • Versatile in performing a broad range of general maintenance and repair duties not requiring full journeyman-level expertise.

  • Effective in interacting with individuals from diverse cultural backgrounds and levels of authority.

  • Licensure: Valid and appropriate Driver's License, required
