Job Description
Overview
We are seeking skilled and motivated Pipelayers/Underground Plumbing Technicians to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work closely in a team of 3-4 to excavate, diagnose, repair, and restore underground plumbing systems. The ideal candidate will have experience with underground work including laying pipe/plumbing, roadwork and excavations.
Pipelayer Key/Underground Plumbing Technician Responsibilities:
Work as part of a team (3-4 members) to excavate and unearth plumbing issues.
Install and repair underground plumbing systems, including drain lines, sewer laterals, and water services.
Backfill and restore surfaces post-repair.
Ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard of quality.
Maintain a clean, organized and SAFE work area, adhering to all safety regulations on the construction site.
Ideal Pipelayer Key/Underground Plumbing Technician Will Have:
Experience in pipe laying, sewer and water systems, and/or general plumbing. Construction and Telecom experience is a great foundation to start with here.
Proficiency in driving and backing up trailers.
Experience operating equipment such as a excavators, mini excavators and skid steer are highly valued.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
Strong problem-solving skills and general handiness.
A valid CDL is a plus.

Qualifications for Pipelayers and Excavator Operators
Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with excavators.
Familiarity with loader operation, front loader trucks, and forklift operation is a plus.
Strong understanding of construction site practices and safety protocols.
Ability to read blueprints and plans for excavation projects.
Knowledge of plumbing requirements for pipeline installation is advantageous.
Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
Must be able to lift heavy materials and perform physical labor as required on the job site.
Must be able to work as a team for the safety and efficiency of all.
All candidates Must Have:
Drivers license & reliable transportation.
Able to work 5 days a week with some long days mixed in.
Be able to problem solve.
Work as a team - these are not one-person operations, we depend on each other from start to finish.
