Painter/Gutter cleaner

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction painting and the ability to work effectively on various projects. This role requires attention to detail, a commitment to quality, and the ability to collaborate with other trades on construction sites. The Painter will be responsible for applying paint, stain, and other finishes to a variety of surfaces while ensuring that all work meets industry standards. Must be comfortable handling ladders and heights.

Duties
Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and patching as necessary.
Apply paint, varnish, and other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
Restore and maintain existing finishes on various structures and fixtures.
Perform trim carpentry tasks as needed to ensure a polished final product.
Collaborate with other construction professionals on site to ensure project timelines are met.
Install fixtures and perform frame carpentry as part of renovation projects.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment at all times.
Assist in remodeling efforts by providing painting services that enhance the aesthetic appeal of spaces.

Experience
5 years experience in interior/exterior painting or a related field is preferred.
Familiarity with ladders and heights.
Strong attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $24.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 28 - 40 per week
