Job Summary:We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead our electrical maintenance team in a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for ensuring safety, scheduling, training, and continuous improvement across all electrical maintenance operations.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and manage the electrical maintenance team, including day shift trades, shift support electricians, and contractors.
- Oversee safety protocols, housekeeping standards, and daily operational activities.
- Administer the electrician maintenance apprenticeship program and monitor training progress.
- Evaluate maintenance effectiveness using key metrics and implement improvement plans.
- Drive root cause analysis, trend analysis, and preventive/predictive maintenance strategies.
- Manage budget objectives for expenses and capital expenditures within the cost center.
- Collaborate with the plant procurement team to oversee repair parts ordering, stocking, and obsolescence.
- Execute continuous improvement projects to enhance system reliability and efficiency.
- Bachelors degree in Engineering.
- Minimum of 3 years of leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proven ability to manage teams and drive performance improvements.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with maintenance metrics and improvement planning.
- Familiarity with apprenticeship program management.
- Knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance systems.
