Our client, a leader in automation solutions, is seeking an Automation Electrical Engineer to join their team. As an Automation Electrical Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting critical projects. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Automation Electrical Engineer

Location: Mason, OH

Pay Range: $45/hr

What's the Job?

  • Specify, design, and test material handling equipment and electrical panels for warehouse applications.
  • Use AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical to create and modify electrical schematics and assembly drawings.
  • Apply principles and techniques of electrical engineering to develop and improve industrial control systems.
  • Assist in the creation of bills of materials (BOMs) and ensure accurate documentation of electrical components.
  • Collaborate with senior engineers as a technical support resource and grow into an independent contributor.

What's Needed?

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering field (2-year degree with strong experience also considered).
  • 3+ years of experience in electrical engineering, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and AutoCAD Electrical.
  • Familiarity with industrial control systems and electrical component identification.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook); experience with Oracle is a plus.
