Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Job Description

As a Maintenance Electrician, you will be responsible for starting and monitoring machinery to evaluate electrical performance, identify inefficiencies, and potential problems. You will inspect and test damaged machine components, marking defective areas and reporting repair needs to supervisors. Reviewing work orders and technical specifications will be essential to determine maintenance and repair requirements for equipment and systems. Your role will involve performing repairs, adjustments, and ongoing maintenance of facility equipment, developing and implementing improved preventive and predictive maintenance procedures, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment and process reliability.

Responsibilities

  • Start and monitor machinery to evaluate electrical performance.

  • Identify inefficiencies or potential problems.

  • Inspect and test damaged machine components.

  • Mark defective areas and report repair needs to supervisors.

  • Review work orders and technical specifications.

  • Determine maintenance and repair requirements for equipment and systems.

  • Perform repairs, adjustments, and ongoing maintenance of facility equipment.

  • Develop and implement improved preventive and predictive maintenance procedures.

  • Communicate effectively with coworkers to coordinate installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment and process reliability.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in VFD, 3 phase electrical systems.

  • Strong troubleshooting and electrical skills.

  • Experience as a maintenance technician.

  • Expertise in electronics and preventive maintenance.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED.

  • 3-5 years of industrial or manufacturing maintenance experience.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multi-task.

Work Environment

The work environment is on the 1st shift from 7AM to 3:30PM, where you will engage in a hands-on role within the facility, utilizing technical skills and equipment to ensure the efficient operation and maintenance of machinery.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00/hr.
