Carpenter - Metal Stud Framing, Acoustical Ceiling, and Drywall

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various carpentry techniques and be able to work independently as well as part of a team. This role involves constructing, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures made from wood and other materials. The Carpenter will be responsible for ensuring that all work meets quality standards and complies with safety regulations.

Duties

Measure, cut, and assemble metal studs for framing according to blueprints and specifications
Install and finish drywall, ensuring smooth, professional results
Construct and install acoustical ceiling systems
Ensure all work meets quality standards and adheres to safety regulations
Collaborate with other trades on-site to meet project timelines
Maintain tools and equipment in good working order

Qualifications

Proven experience in metal stud framing, acoustical ceiling installation, and drywall work (3+ years preferred)
Ability to read and interpret construction plans and blueprints
Knowledge of building codes and safety procedures
Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship
Physical ability to lift, climb, and work in various conditions
Reliable transportation to job sites
