Schedule: Monday-Friday | 6AM-2:30PM with OT required

About the Job

Express Employment Professionals is partnering with a Manufacturing company located in Rochester, WA, to fill a Utility Pole Framer role. This is an exciting opportunity for someone looking to join a growing team in a fast paced, outdoor work environment .

This position is Evaluation-to-Hire, with a consistent schedule of Monday-Friday , from 6AM-2:30PM but Overtime is required as needed. It is not uncommon to work 9 hour days during the busy season. Compensation starts at $20.00/hr .

Key Responsibilities:

• Peeler: Operate the pole shaver and related systems efficiently and safely
• Mobile Equipment Operator (1 or 2): Operate forklifts and wheel loaders.
• Scaler/Inspector: Inspect, grade, and manufacture barkies and shaved poles for inventory.
• Assistant Scaler/Inspector: Assist with inspection, grading, and manufacturing of poles.
• Framer: Manufacture round stock products to spec in a safe and productive manner.

• Experience working recently in a physically demanding job
• Commitment to safety active participation in our safety program
• Willingness to perform additional duties as needed to support the team
• Reliability, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic
• Hand eye coordination
• Proven reliability with reference from previous employer
• Willing to work outside all year in any weather
• Pass a drug screen
