Volt is hiring a Production Technician for a leading manufacturing company in Edison, NJ.

As a Production Technician , you will:

• Operate safely around heavy machinery and mobile equipment
• Trim and process PVC fittings using hand tools and specialized equipment
• Maintain clean and organized work areas following 5S and housekeeping standards
• Monitor equipment and report any malfunctions or safety concerns
• Follow verbal and written instructions from supervisors and leads
• Complete required training and stay compliant with company policies
• Wear required PPE at all times (steel-toed shoes, gloves, eye/ear protection, high-visibility clothing)

The ideal candidate will have:

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to work in hot, cold, noisy, and oily environments
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Flexibility in assignments and willingness to learn
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-based environment
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to handle multiple priorities throughout the day

This is a full-time opportunity.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM or 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (based on operational needs)

Pay: $18 per hour

*Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
